It's NOT Ball Bearing according the the apex'i Japan website.

I have a friend who has been trying to get this turbo kit for a long time. He hasn't had any luck though and has waited over a year for this kit. I heard that apex'i is discontinuing their turbo kits now?

I know that but there is conflicting data. some writeups refer to the turbo as being ball bearing. so far only reted has claimed to have had one in his hands and says no ball bearing. Now Jason is sitting on one.

I think the turbo spools pritty quick. He told me that it was a new technology called "floating metal", it's basicly a ball bearing unit but differently designed from others.

 

Im not exactly sure if its ball bearing. I have not been able to confirm that with Apexi since they dont know anything about the parts they sell.

so are you selling this yet? how much/whats in the kit exactly?
