Gee, how am I supposed to see this???

The AX75 is flanged for a T04 - weird.
NO, it is NOT ball bearing.
"Floating metal" is A'PEXi's fancy way of restating oil journal bearings.
Supposedly makes up to 500hp easily.

Yes, Travis is using one on his FD3S.
Supposedly the first in the U.S. - how? His brother Lanny works for A'PEXi.
They stopped tuning at around 350hp, cause he was still using the stock fuel injectors.
The pulsewidths were getting too high.

What's funky about this "kit" is the *wastercooled* wastegate.
We couldn't figure out why they did this, except for maybe the slightly more compact design?
Boy, have fun running even more coolant lines way back there...

The turbo is not as big as you might think. Here is the photo I took at the 2002 Tokyo Auto Salon

I got more photos if you are interested.

I actually heard that all Apex'i kits coem with watercooled wastegates now including the RX6, hence the increase in price for the kit.

Talk about back from the dead! I'm glad to see this thread is back up in view of everyone. I haven't heard of anyone using this yet. Any new info available??

RETED, did Travis ever finish tuning the car?

Sorry, laptop died, and I had to go scramble for a new MoBo the past few weeks.

Last I heard, the fuel injectors was at their limits, and I dunno what's going on with the car now...

I will have that turbo kit here today and bought the only kit that was in the states.
I will post some pics of the kit when I get a chance. It will be going on one of our customers cars with our stage 3 motor.

Thanks Jason. I'll be looking forward to seeing what the kit looks like. How much did you charge for the kit? That way I can gauge what they'll cost when you get more of them.

It's exactly what it is... a wastegate cooled by water/coolant. Apexi has this wastegate which routes water/coolant through the wastegate to aid in cooling.
