Which gives more power of these turbo kits and which do you prefer. Give me your idea as I want one of these kits.

t04s will have more top end power without a doubt, the rx-6 is still a great choice but will max out @ abt 450rwhp...but suposidly has better spool

only 2 downsides to rx6 kit can only go a little above 450rwhp max and turbo is non rebuildable due to BB design.

Ok, Ok, I've said the Apex is a good turbo for a long time now, but I always hear 450 is the max. I've only seen Chuck post that he has 415 RWHP and Max has 365 RWHP .... anyone else? I don't think either of those are 450 .....

I have the Apex turbo and put out about 350 hp at only 10#
I have had the turbo for about 6 months without a stand alone computer AND i am using stock injectors. Yes I know, I know - very bad idea. I am definitely NOT recommending this, just saying it is possible. My car runs so damn rich with the aid of the Super AFC.

And yeah, I am getting the PFC and upgraded secondary injectors (only 850s though - whatchya think? should i go bigger?)

umm stock secondaries are only 850cc alredy...go with 1300's...350 and rich? your injectors have got to be runnin like 100% duty cycle..

only thing i dont get is why spend 3k on a single, and not up grade the fuel...then it will cost3k for a motor and 2k to replace the rx-6 since u cant re-build them

ApexRX7: Care to share your mods? I am interested because I don't that anyone has posted that kind of number before. Is the engine stock? ported? new? old? Have you repeated that 350 number or just the one time?

I know at least one RX6 car that made 350 RWHP at 12 psi, but I doubt if that is possible at 10 psi with the RX6 and stock(ish) porting.

Are you sure your boost gauge is reading correctly? Is this just a butt-dyno number or did you run it on a DynoJet?

-Max
367RWHP at 13 psi with RX6

OK, I have Power FC, HF Pump and 1300cc Injectors coming soon.
Do I need adjustable fuel pressure regulator or should I use the stock one ?

porting increases flow through the engine...its like doin a valve job, stroking it, and putting a bigger cam in a piston engine...
by making the engine breathe easire you can squeez more air in and more exhaust out in the same rotation, wich in turn will make more hp, and on a highly modified engine it will help even more.. and with the higher flow the more exhaust gas will help to spin turbine blades abit faster...you should ask ito abt porting hees the man

downsides are, if not done right can be more detrimental then bennifical, can cause you to fail emisions

thats my quick decription
