Anyone used HKS racegate knock offs?

ie: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...906538769&rd=1

cheap, looks like an hks, but what about functionality? if it's copied directly off HKS's design, how bad could it be? Any feedback would be appreciated, and these are significantly cheaper (ie. half the cost of the HKS racegate)

I heard the HKS knockoffs had problems holding boost under 1bar, but above that it was perfectly ok. Just keep in mind theres usually a reason their cheaper other than j/ a brand name.

I was just wondering - i ordered a tial 44mm wg for myself from cheapturbo.com. I just see them all over the place, and as long as the machining is dead on, it would theoretically function ok...

guess not

my friend had one, it died and led to a big boost spike. not good for the motor as he was breaking it in.
