I know slammedblk7 ran a gt45 in his, but I think his was a masterpower gt45, not sure how similar they are to one on eBay though, I think he made like 540+whp on his
Not sure if I spelled his username correct, but it's something like that

There are YouTube videos of this turbo. Some of them say y2k gt45. They work but no one seems to know how long they last. I think they are better suited for low boost based on quality. I have thought about buying it but I don't have money to experiment so I'm saving for better equipment.

I have tuned many car's with these turbo's. Youll make most of your power on these turbos at about 22-25psi depending on porting and they are very reliable. Never seen one fail.

I have had one for about 7 years with no issues. tough turbo. 15 psi I got 390 on a shitty engine and tune.

I've seen them on the pushrod 5.0 Mustangs. They're about as good of an eBay turbo as you're going to get.

Yes mine was a master power unit made 568. Turbo still had plenty of power left in it at that point.

There is a topic on this turbo on "the turbo forum". Master power version was mentioned and given a good review.
As for the gt45 y2004k They said its a big shaft turbo which helps make it last.
It requires a break in period.
It a good idea to take it apart and inspect it before first start.

I'm tempted to try it but I'm still going to save for a turbonetics 60 series. I should have all my turbo parts by Christmas. This could be a back up turbo for me someday.
