pics of the GT3574 are in my thread in this section entitled "separating fiction from reality..."

the turbo will be fully evaluated in my upcoming 4 turbo dyno project.

yes the turbo is very close to the GT3582r sizewise. since it has a different center section (ball bearing V journal bearing) and may (or may not be) water cooled it will have slightly diff hookups for oil/water. the compressor is the same. the tubine housing, if the GT3582r is a T4, should be very close if not identical.

depending on my comparison you might want to look into getting the Garrett Ported Shroud for it, a $65 option.

Hope it helps. The kit goes together pretty easily just make sure you go thru everything and make everything is there. I had a couple of things missing but nothing too serious. So far we have it tuned for only 11psi. It's a blast to drive, spools quick and pulls hard. Enjoy yours and take your time and install it right the first time. Also, Sean was very helpful during the purchase, install and tuning processes.

I know this may seem like a ridiculous question -and- don't want to start a single vs. sequential twin debate. But, I would like your thoughts comparing this setup to the stock twins since you said it's a blast to drive, spools quick and pulls hard...

thanks

The main difference between this turbo and the stock twins is how abrupt the boost comes on. The twins are more sublte. I can't recall when the twins reach full boost but I am pretty sure I see mine around 3500 rpm. The twins are only good for about 12 or 13 psi before you risk damage, take that amount of boost to a single setup and you will have much more hp. I'm sure it's the same with any of the guys single setups on the forum. This is my first turbo car, I had fun with the twins but I enjoy the single a lot more.

In response to Howard's comments, it is an oil cooled turbo. No coolant hook ups.
