For those interested Mcmaster Carr sells a awsome little filter that would be great for this job. They sell it with different micron (think 10-40 micron) ratings and if I remember right it's under 15 bucks. About 3" long and comes with either SAE o-ring boss ports or 1/4" NPT.
Jim- is it more like a bronze element vs a flat screen? That's some tight IC tubing routing! Has the SS line rubbing up against it rubbed a hole in the tube yet? SS lines are like files, they like to eat alumn parts for lunch

I have a rubber hose that slides over the SS line to keep it from chewing up the IC piping. But in that pic it's slid back out of sight.
