Any idea? Blown motor

Well I took my car to have my T78 installed. The motor ran strong, a reman with 10k. I dropped the car off at my mech. It sat outside disassembled for 5 weeks to try and piece the kit together. When everything got installed the car want run right, real rough idel. He checks the compression and it's ****. Any ideas on what could of happened? Any input would be appreciated.

You take it Guch's? He's had a bit of bad luck rebuilding engines lately, quality sucks quite honestly of late.

Maybe when it was installed one of the shop boys decided he'd go for a joyride not knowing how fragile 7s are? Could have, ya never know.... maybe it detonated because it wasnt tuned in?

typically a spring will fail when its under very high boost. Detonation will usually take out the seal itself. I have had similar problems but my apex seals were impacted into the rotor due to a lean condition. I guess anything can happen but a "weak Apex spring" is a new one for me. I am no expert on rebuilds but it sounds like an excuse that wont put any responsability on the rebuilder.
