Please search on this topic... Short answer, yes you can. Long answer, technically it is possible but it's definitely more than "throwing" it on there. Lots more involved w/ controlling the boost, having a correct ECU to include the extra fuel, etc. etc. etc. many more issues.

Unless you're up for a big challenge and a lot of work, don't do it. Swap in an entire turbo motor, drivetrain, ecu, etc. etc. Better yet, sell your car and buy a TII -- you'll probably be money ahead...

If you've got a vert, well that's a different story altogether.

best is in the eyes of the beholder... IMO it depends on what your application is... Define best. Biggest HP stock, biggest HP modified, cheapest to own/operate, easiest to tune, most reliable, etc?

By the way, don't say all of the above because you can't have your cake and eat it too. Cheap, fast, reliable <-- pick 2 because you can't get all 3....

You're going to have to be a little more specific with what your goals are -- what do you want to do? Drag race? Autocross? Street car? Each application may require a slightly different setup... Or if you're wanting to do all of them, you may have to find a happy medium in there somewhere.
How much do you want to spend? $100? $1000? $10000?
