Question Any body have Gotham's turbos kit?

So does anyone have gotham's turbo kits? What do you think about them? Im looking at getting a ball bearing kit or just turbo. Ive been looking at the GT40R or the GT42. I hear that the 85R is a pretty popular kit wright now. Does that have alot of lag?

I would say at this moment A-specs 35R sale is the best buy on ball bearing kits. It was mentioned in another thread in here in the single section.

to increase cost

really though..... if they wanted to keep the two runners seperate for a divided flange it could increase flow as they are not "joined" earlier.

I'd love to see comparisons.

I personally would just go with a larger wg as i'm poor. I don't think it's realated to the wg itself just the manifold and the design. The dual wg was a by product.

It could be argued that two is better than one right?

That sucks! Pretty weak especially for a ported engine. I'd rather keep the stock twins.

Dual wastegates are mainly for keeping the manifold truly divided which can have benifits of it's own you can get better control as well. I'm sure Gotham thought of both things when designing it.

Why such low #'s on the dyno? With a ported motor you should have mad much more than that. I better make really good #'s with my car

yeah i mentioned the divided part but i dont' think the wg control should be much of an issue. A larger 50mm can control large amounts of power easily.

that's why i'm curious how divided/undivided spool differently on the manifold. Is the manifold better? I don't know. Anyone want to comment that has used it? I don't think there are too many of those though.........

Incorrect, He made 436 at 17psi with ambient room temperature over 100 degrees massive heatsoak, and a motor losing compression VERY quickly due to a completely failed OMP while tuning. Also a conservative tune because it was tuned in the south, when joe lives in chicago with crazy wheather

post the dyno sheet ! id love to see it as others here would too

it must be a really weak 436rwhp as Christians GT35R on a weak compreession stock engine seems to hold its own against it.. christians probably making 350rwhp in his car, if that...ohh chicago cruises.. maybe christian can chime in?
