anibody with the poliurethane motor mounts? pros and cons
lookin for a set of this mounts to my car so can handle the big hp but want to know personal opinions like pros and cons ,people have told that i will have many vibrations in the copckpit and i use my car for the street.
let me know what you think and maybe ideas of what i can do.

There are tons of threads on this. I have the DIY's that cost me about $75 total and am perfectly happy with them. Do a search and you will see that many people are.

DIY huh! My passengers side motor mount broke in my Fc. I ghetto replaced it with 3 layers of 1/2" ply wood sandwiched in between 2 pieces of old rubber to insulate any vibration. The rubber I used was a cut up old radiator hose. I went to the hardware store to buy the bolt, washers, and a nut to finish it off. The whole mount cost me $1.50. LOL I'm surprised at how well it actually works. The engine is more stable with very minor vibration. Not bothersome at all! I only did this as a temporary fix while I buy some more motor mounts but hell, this is working out great so far. I might make some for the Fd and see how it goes.

that's the most ghetto thing i've ever heard of in my career as a human being. EVERYONE knows you're supposed to use pressure-treated lumber for this type of thing.

LOL Well since the plywood is layered, I figured it too would also aid to with shock absorption. Plus it won't split and crack in half along the grain like hard wood will.
