Air filter size for To4B 60-1 4"inducer

List,

What size of air filter can I fit on my 1988 Turbo going on a T04B 60-1 4" inlet?

Overall diameter and length.

Ie 7" or 12" etc.
Not sure what would fit as my car is stored and I'm just buying all the parts for installation know.

Thanks,
Ian Skacel

Me too,

someone posted a link for filters. Dirt cheap cotton gauze cone filters, (whith the filter on the top also)

they had ones with 3",4", and 5" inlets. and different colors and lengths.

someone post that link again.

There is no way for anybody to tell you this because your car has a custom turbo setup. It all depends on where your manifold places the turbo inlet, what kind of engine accessories you have, what kind of modifications have been made to the engine bay, and what kind of intake pipe you are using. I think it may be better for you not to stress over filters until you get your car back.

Um, those are about the same price as real K&N filters. In fact, I think some of those poser filters may even be more expensive than a real K&N.

i use k&n filter part number rc-3600. i think thats what the number is. it has a 4in opening and is 5in long. it was about $40...
like evil said... how are we supposed to know how much room you have? do you have a tape measure? a ruller? anything? measure it out, see how much room you have and look through their catalog. picking a filter is not that hard. take 5 minutes out of your day and decide what you need. i am willing to bet that k&n has something that will work for you.

Thanks,

Ya I guess I was pretty ignorant in thinking one size will fit. Thought that someone had a similiar setup. I will just order one when I finish my install. Was just trying to order all the parts.

Thanks
Ian
