Of course its for real, only you will make 450RWHP on pump gas at the most, 850hp wont be achieved until like 30psi or so. Is it a good deal? For them it probably is.

I would rather sell my fd for 20-24k, take the 15k that they are asking for and buy

You could probably assemble something pretty close for about 5K less.

Also notice, no electronics, and a core must be provided. If you don't have one, count on another 1k to add to the setup.

Yea that **** is ridiculous! First of all they dont even use the KKK turbos they say they do, 2nd you could put the same kit together for much cheaper, 3rd they dont say how much boost that power is at and also what kind of fuel(alcohol/meth) also, i believe thier OWN full race car is making that power(do you think they would give you all they have?) and last read my first point.

oh i forgot too mention, as they do, you will also need a full chassis, trailor, truck, and probably another 10-15 grand in the car as well as about 3 spare engines and a bunch of people that will work on it. So GREAT, post some dyno numbers when your done!!!

I think that's a bit much, but I believe those numbers...I have seen many dyno videos of 700 and 800 HP. But that dude who said you can get that for 5K must be on something. Just a turbo kit is 4K, 3mm seals are 1K, clutch 1K,flywheel 500, fuel system over 1K, god, labour has to be way up there...removing the engine, rebuild, fabrication(thousands just for piping), taxes etc...

That price is not to far off to get 800 to the flywheel, maybe 550-600 to the wheels. If want to get that power, and do it right, expect to pay well over 10K. Anyone who says different, hasn't done it, or hasn't done it right. I don't know anyone who has purchased a big job like that from SR, but everyone(over 10, including myself) I know who has done what sr is offering has all paid close to that, some even more.

You are assuming 3mm CERAMICS. Standard Mazda 3mm apex seals are only $2-300. Even if you got totally reamed on the milling work you'd still only be spending $600.

I'm not "hating" it's just that, everything SR sells, is overpriced relabeled stock.
His super special "KKK" turbos are nothing more then re-branded Holset turbos that you could get at any diesel turbo retailer for $500.00. He sells them for the super low price of $1,900.00
His ultimate SR radiator is nothing more then a Koyo radiator that cost $200.00 more. His PFC maps and support are lacking at best, and I consider anyone who buys anything from there foolish.
SR might have some nice drag times, but that doesn't mean anything to me as a consumer.

His drag car hobby is supported by the people that spend money there... think about it! I bet ya he doesn't build the motors he sells either..... He jobs them out to M2 or someone and takes a cut.....
