N=nitrogen. O=oxygen.
The "2" means two N's for each O.

Yup, thats the stuff. 2 parts Nitrogen, 1 part Oxygen. The sulfur in the N2O that we buy for our cars can kill you to inhale. But its the same crap you get from the Dentist when you get your teeth drilled.
BTW: Medical grade N2O is no better than commercial grade (what we can buy on the streets) N2O. It may smell a bit better (I don't think it stinks myself), but tests have shown it does not work any better. The Sulfer burns up faster than an RX-7 passes a Honda *** on the freeway.

even with the sulfur in it people huf the hell out of it We have these guys that come to the shop every friday buying two or three bottles worth. We asked them what shot? what kinda car they were running, they told us they huff it and at first we didn't believe them due to the sulfer in it. They told us that you can huff it and the sulfer is in pockets so most of the time you don't get any, but when you do you just barf! Now they use a water bong and it works great. we asked them to bring in the bong and they did, it was a old nos bottle with a line tapped in it near the top, too fill the ballons. Just thought it was funny as hell.
