500R FD: Boost controller

Trying to find the right boost controller...

I came upon this one, ARK Advanced Boost Controller http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/ar...sign%20abc.htm, it seems very compact and simple, which I like.

Wondering if anyone suggests a different controller?...

I'd like to spend south of $500. $550 if absolutely necessary...

Appreciate it!

have you checked out TurboSmart boost controllers? I run one myself and love it as well as friends of mine who love/run them too. Great all in one boost guage/controller (60mm) has 6 boost settings i believe all kinds of bad *** features. check them out.

60mm would be great so I could fit it in a pod.

But per this site: http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/tu...0e%20boost.htm ,

It says it is 66mm...

Do they sell them in 60mm any where else?

my bad bro it is a 66 i believe. now that i recall i had to use a die grinder wheel to open up the 60mm pod i had. it fit fine though with some charisma. its great having it right in front of you basically. The boost controller is one of the most important things inside a turbo car, plus this controller is so easy to use man i love it. AND ITS ALL IN ENGLISH!!! made in Australia.

I rather have the AVCR, the turbosmart didn't mention anything about RPM based boost setting wich to me is really important since if you keep the same duty throught out the RPM the boost tends to drop after 7K (on a street port, lower on a stock port), so with the AVCR I will give it more duty at 7K to have a flat boost graph
