Talking 400+rwhp GT35r Build

Well figured I'd start this thread off as the car is headed for the shop this Saturday.

Here's a run off of what I'm looking at.

On the car now:

5-way adjustable Tokico Illumia Gas Stocks

Eibach Springs Pro Kit

Down Pipe (Going to be replaced with A-Specs)

To be done:

Rebuild w/ Street Port

A-Specs GT35r divided T4 1.06 Single Turbo

RE-A Dual Tip Dolphin Tail Cat-Back

A-Specs Stainless DP

A-Specs Stainless Manifold

HKS Twin Power Ignition System

Power FC w/ Commander

Supra TT Fuel Pump

550/1300 Injectors

RX-7 Stores V-Mount IC

RX-7 Stores Modified Koyo Radiator

Tial 44mm Wastegate

Greddy Elbow w/ BOV Flange

Greddy Type-RS BOV

Hawk HP+ Brake Pads & Stainless Brake lines

Also going with an AI system, most likely FJO's kit.

Hoping for 400rwhp-415rwhp @14psi on 91oct.

I'll be posting vids of the car before and after if anyone is interested..

heres a tip, get your down pipe and wraped or hot coated, wish mine were done but now its just a pita if i do it myself, i would have to take everything off.
and you will make 400 rwhp at 14psi, i dont doubt it.

Rick from Ricks Rotary is building & tuning the car. Later I might have Steve Khan tune the car the next time he's in the Bay Area...

With a good fuel system you could easily hit 460hp+ outo f that setup.

You are only going to run 550's for the primarys? With my RX-6 turbo kit at 15psi I was at 80% duty cycle. And a 35r, will flow much more than that tiny rx6...

Hey man, that's just sick. Exactly the route I'd like to go. Get a good tune and your tires are going to hate you Keep us posted and make sure to post a dyno graph when you get it tuned

I read that when you break 300whp the differential becomes the weakest link?

I am sure you will be able to hit 400rwhp. I am on the 500r with 1.06 hotside on a STOCK ported motor and am able to pull just under 400rwhp.

I have had no problems with my rear diff on the FD, but even then it is pretty easy to swap it out for a TII rear diff. That is what several have done...

Very nice build though! I'm in the home stretch of putting my 35R kit together and getting rather anxious.

WOW that's a nice upgrade. You're going to have a completely transformed machine!

I don't see tires or a clutch/flywheel package in your to do list though. After driving with a 9.5lb flywheel, it's the only way to go IMO and with it all apart, it's the best time to do it. And your stock clutch won't last or hold up to those power levels.

EDIT: upgraded motor mounts or a torque brace would be a very worthwhile mod also.

And to others commenting on the fuel system, the AI will definitely take a big load off of the main fuel system.
