Finally got the RX-3 tuned. This is a bone stock unported motor with a very conservative tune.

It is a Borg Warner S475.

All the motor has to do is stay togeather long enough to finish my new motor.

We decided to stop at 22psi. It is a 1.32 A/R and as far as i know they only offer one wheel.

I have already started building the next motor, that is when i will realize the full potential of this setup.

Wow, that is a big compressor wheel, 75mm minor and 100mm major. What is response and spool like with the stock ports?

It is hard to say, the only other time i drove the car was with a GT42 on it. I will say that the S475 seems to come online faster than the 42 with a 1.15 A/R. Like crispeed says it is all in how you drive it. I have another little vid that might give you an idea of how it spools. If you listen to what %90 of the people on this forum say that turbo would never spool but it does! I am waiting for a printout of the dyno sheet, it might give a little more incite than my butt dyno.

that lil thing should be a beast after you get a nicer, ported motor in it. How much do they weigh?

Don't really know. Just guessing, somewhere in the 2000-2200lb range.

Great job, Allen!

Isn't it funny when you say, "If you listen to what %90 of the people on this forum say that turbo would never spool but it does!", how so many of those same people can be wrong? Everyone's an expert on the Internet. Funny, huh?
