3" 5 bolt turbo flange question

I searched and maybe i'm searching for the wrong thing but I have a precision p54 turbo and it has a 5 bolt flange on the exhaust. I have a 4 bolt flange on my 3 inch down pipe so I'm cutting it off and welding a 5 bolt onto the 3" down pipe.

Question is:

Do they make 5 bolt 3" flanges? I can only find 2 1/2

Does it matter if I weld stainless dp to non stainless flange? I can't find a stainless one.

Stainless welds great to regular mild steel. Use 308 or 309 welding rod/wire.

About the flange, you can always port it once you weld it

They should. They tend to be called "Ford" style. I remember on my turboed MX6 I ran a Precision sc61. Do you know if your turbo is a t3 flange?

I found a 5 bold "Ford" style with 3" v band welded onto it. Here's a link... http://cheapturbo.stores.yahoo.net/new3instainv.html

Thats basically a 60-1 or T04E 60trim sized compressor popular with the Grand National guys. (I assume that was a typo, its a PT54, not a p54). Its a T4 turbine, but it comes with small t3 inlet turbine in a .63, or .85 A/R. Thats pretty damn small for a rotary. Is this turbo for a rotary? If so, I'd advise keeping your money for that flange your looking for and invest in a real T4 turbine housing with a v-band.

if your welding any flanges, get the v-band ones, they will save u time, frustration, and anger not having to bolt the dp to the turbo, bolt ons are a nightmare.

i even have the 3" v-band flanges i could send your way
