edit: part number below is for 1600's not 1680's.

Bosch# 0280150846 "cream tops" will get you 1600's. http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_SetsMODS.asp

2 for $179.

edit again:

Now I'm curious, seems like maybe they're one and the same: http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/pro...roducts_id/562

Installing them is pretty easy, use some lube, new seals, push them in gently making sure the seals don't get pinched. Bolt them up, pressure test the system before starting the engine to ensure no leaks.

I now have the KG sec rail + the metal drop in rings. The rubber seal you mention is the one the comes on the injector, right?

Are there any other seals needed? (on top towards rail)

thanks

There is one seal on the top of the injector, one on the bottom. The metal drop in rings go into the intake manifold for the injector seal (bottom) to sit against. The top seal seals against the machined surface of the kg parts rail.

Besides the injector seals, no there isn't any other seal you need in the kg rail.

Pictures are worth a thousand words, and since I have my injectors and rails off for injector flow testing i'll post a couple.

Just keep in mind that I have the metal drop in rings in the lower intake manifold, which the lower seal on the injector sits into.

Those injectors were modified at the top to fit into a OEM TII rail. I would not recommend using those as the (KG) rails were designed to use the injector unmodified. Under pressure that o-ring will just roll right over that metal lip and cause a huge problem (loss of engine or entire car due to fire). Sell those to someone running stock rails and get the right injectors rather than rigging it up.

Thank you I will do that! Do larger primary injectors need to be machined like this to fit into the factory rail as well? My 720cc primaries don't look like they have the same machined groove and I just want to make sure I won't have issues with them.
