1600 cc injector deal..

I am buying a package of 8 , 1600cc injectors locally in order to save a few bucks for my to4e install, 4 of them are spoken for, there will be 4 left over, if anyone is looking for a couple of 1600's, I will sell the leftovers for what I paid for them + shipping, which is 104.00(canadian dollars) + shipping, I know this should be in the for sale section, but its only the turbo guys that need 1600 cc injectors..104.00 canadian is about 66.00 US..Max

Have they been flow tested?

Are they low or high impedance?

What kind of injectors (Bosch, RC)?

Thanks,
J

Brand new Ford motorsports injectors...I was told they are low impedence, but i am not going to stick to that, they end up being high impedence..
I have been getting alot of PM's on these injectors, they are dirt cheap thats for sure, I have only 4 for sale and they are pretty much spoken for right now, but if someone else wants to organize something, I can pickup another set of 8 and send them to whoever wants to organize the buy...Max

Why not just get the ones from http://www.precisionte.com/

They are $90 each and here is the description...

Bosch 160# Injectors
This injector will flow some serious fuel. Up to 1900HP!! Please note, these injectors are low impedance and will require a ECM modification. Accel or SpeedPro users do not need this modifiaction.
$ 90.00

They are 1680cc I think.

lol well you have to have some way to control it. atleast a afc. If you just through them in I feel sorry for the car behind you when they kick in. lol

apexi s-afc would not be enought to control it. the s-afc works on the map sensor voltage, and adjust the stock ecu as such. The problem you will run into is that the s-afc will read the boost from the map sensor, then will do a + or - percentage in 1% increments. But 1% difference in an 850 cc injector vs. 1600 cc injector is a lot. Also a T-04S at 1.0 boost vs. stock twins at 1.0 boost is MUCH different. It would adjust to what it thinks are the stock injectors and stock turbo's.

since it is a 89 you have high impedance injectors so you will have to stick with high impedance. the question is can the afc go negitive enough to use the 1600cc? I can't answer that I have never tried it. If it will work you will never pull all the power out of it without the AEM. Ok Ok or haltech

a 10 ohm resistor, about $0.25, in the power wire of the injector will make it feel the same as a high impedance injector... Now all you need is a computer such as the power FC that will let you adjust injector size...

Also if your going to do a GB I would go to the following link I just found...

http://www.musclemotors.com/mustang/mustang.htm

Click on induction, then scroll down and click on fuel system... wait for the page to load then scroll down to fuel injectors... A set of 8 160#hr injectors are $475 and the site says they will accept pay pal... that comes out to $59.38 ea.. you can't beat that...

Chris

I am pretty sure you will need a modified fuel rail for the Bosch injectors. You can get them from either SR or K2RD for around 150 I think.
