well i just dropped off my s5 turbo manifold at a machine shop. they are going to match it to the 12a flange i have.next week it will be in, then i have to tow it to a muffler shop and have them bend all of the 3inch piping to the intercooler and then the exhaust too. one thing im not sure on what to do though is the turbo has an internal wastegate. i have an external one out of a volvo. where i also got the intercooler from. id like to use the external so i can upgrade in the future quite easily. and it seems like it would be easier to hook my greddy profec b spec 2 boost controller up to. does anyone know how i could remove the internal wastegate without messing anything up?

you could get the internal one welded up, or you could try to find an exhaust housing that will fit on the back of it that doesnt have an internal wastegate.

personally, i'd stick with the internal wastegate, sell the volvo one, save some money, and get a manifold made for an external wastegate etc. etc.

internal wastegates are really a problem
