if I have this.....
if I have 550cc primaries and 1300cc secondary with an upgraded pump, can I bolt on a T-78? or will I need to upgrade my fuel lines and rails? additional injectors? regulator? what fuel system do you guys think is ideal for use with a t-78? i.e. what pump, size injectors, lines, rails....? thanks in advance.

Depending the boost level you want to run you might be fine. But you would definitely need some sort of EMS to control the fuel. Do you already have the injectors or no? I would go for some 1600cc's if you could.

I already have the injectors and a power fc. I think I might get some top feeds and use them as additional injectors. I'm just worried about the fuel lines and pump. do you guys use the stock pressure regulator?

How about getting larger primary injectors?(720s maybe) An aftermarket FPR is always a good idea when upping HP levels that dramatically.
On a side note, when I get a T04S(which it looks like I will be going with), I'll move my 720s to the primaries and get 1600s for the secondaries.

with 550's and 1300's at 80% on rp fuel calculator, you could technically hit 446.8 flywheel hp. i think vosko hits 459rwhp (537fwhp w/17%drivetrainloss) @15psi with his t-78. so they might be a little small. the calculator is a nice little tool. definately should get the regulator imho, and what pump are you going to be using? there are quite a few to choose from. we need to know your goals to help out a little better. lines should be fine, and the rails with whatever injectors you're going to be using (side or top feed). i searched the forum for a few days straight when i was figuring out mine, its time consuming, but i learned alot. it might be worth it for you. figure out your goals, and we can help on injector, and pump selection.

well, first off thanks for all the help guys. I'm running side feed stock injectors 550cc pri. and 1300cc sec. my goal is to run like vosko but not quite as intense. I want 400 at least to make it to the ground. I defiantly want to run mid to low 11's. I was thinking of going ahead and getting some 850cc fro the primary's and maybe some top feed 700's for additional injectors. I want a huge external pump, one that you can hear over the exhaust . do I need a fuel reservoir?
what's so great about top feed injectors anyway? do they perform better or something? do I need to upgrade my stock fuel rails? thanks again guys....I would be lost without you

The only relevant difference (that I have been able to come up with) between "side feed"(high impendence) and "top feed"(low impendence) is that you are able to go higher that 1300s with low impendence.
Also you may need to use a resistor on the low impendence injectors for the PFC to bring it up to the right amperage.
Play around with Max Coopers fuel calculation page.
You will quickly get a good idea of what you will have to run to make the fuel system sufficient for your application.

P.S. Thanks Max very useful for us noobs

thanks man....that's going to be very helpful in my quest for the perfect fuel system!!!!! I think that if I go with some 850's up front I'll be okay... I can allways go larger
