Well, he hasn't chimed in, so I guess not. Nah, really I was just looking to see what his thoughts were on it this time.

And from here, I guess get it to the track to see what she'll do.

How do you like the spool of the 40R? Looks like you are getting 15 psi by 3800 and full boost by 4200, thats pretty nice to make that kind of power. An you have over 600 rwhp from ~6700 to 8000. Very nice.

I can't complain at all. But, it's a handful. The only thing I wish is that I had a 42R. However, I'm happy with the 40R for now.

Really? Why? That amount of power should get you into the 9s if you can keep the drivetrain in tact, which is going to be tough.

If only it were that easy.

10's is cake, 9's is a whole different ball game.

I thought it would be easy too, so did Erniet.

I need to buy your old rear-end setup from that guy in Morehead City, NC. He's not far from me and as far as I know, the damn car is just sitting there collecting dust. I need to put that rear to good use.

What's the story on my OLD FD ?

I've heard that he wrecked it, blew the turbo up then blew the motor up ? I heard he was only able to run a 14 sec pass ?

You got any pictures of it ? I'd like to see the condition of it now

Alot of the locals here still think I have it. They think I'm playing a joke on them

I'm saying he has the power to do it, not the rest of the car, so why would he really want to upgrade to a 42R to make more power when the car more than likely won't stay together with the power it has.

The only thing I've heard about it, is that the bullet nut on the compressor wheel came off and sucked up into the turbo and destroyed it(which they have been known to do). I have never heard of him wrecking it, or blowing up the motor. He did supposedly run a really slow pass, but it was immediately after the turbo sucked up the bullet nut. So it was all motor. I have not seen the car, so no, I have no pics. I did see some online though and it still looked as good as it did when you had it.

You don't need that, you'll get plenty of "wow" when you drag some expecting "fast" cars down the strip.

An 07 1ton Chevy pickup hauling a big weird looking purple trailer. We were on the way to pickup an airplane that had been wrecked.
