Apex is about 20 mins from here. There are plenty of venues where we could gather. There's a lake there, too.

I've tried a few times without success to get someone from Road Atlanta to call me back about a weekday track rental. Must be nice to have so much biz. I could host part of such an event at my place. Plenty of space to park, 20 mins from Road Atlanta and 12 mi from where 129 gets interesting. lots of cheap lodging nearby as well. Its available if needed

Haha, let's just organize an event for the sheer purpose of literal irony! I do like this idea though... well, I pretty much like any idea that involves getting a lot of rotaries together in one spot. So count me (and probably my wife ) in as long as we still have some running 7's!

I'd say there's room for about 100 cars on the grass behind the house by the pool and to the right of the photo, and a few down by the shop building. the large area in the center is deep pasture- any car that gets down in there may be there forever! overflow could go in the front yard. 6.5+ acres total, about 350x900'. a few more gas grills would help though as I have only one. It would be pretty cool to show some movies on the side of the building in the evening when the sun goes down.

Thread resurrection #2

The date is only about 3/4 of a year away.

Lets do a Moutain run, upstate SC, NC, and mabey see if we could get a Auto-X event to take place on the same date, someplace near. Mabey that Stadium near Rock hill, SC, its off I-77.

Theres so many thing we could do, its hard to decide!
I ghess thats why we started this thread so soon, give us time to decide.

later.
*The greatest RX7 meet, comming 7/7/07.*

Let's have it in Apex, NC.

I will start looking for a location over the next few months in Apex if this is where we want to do it.

Anyone have any suggestions otherwise? I only have Tail of the Dragon on the brain right now... lol

EDIT: I'll also look into other areas in other states as well, to make it a more central and simpler location for more people to come!

Is it too much to have 2 "Tail of the Dragon" meets in one year?
