ok, so i really have a car that needs to be tuned.. and i want to have steve tune it so is anyone intersted if i can put a small group of people together??? ill talk to Steve about it but can i get some people interested?? he charges $350 to tune a car for however long it takes..

ill most likely end up using RRR again because they were really cool.. but one car will have to be street tuned or dyno'ed on an all wheel drive dyno.

you know steve kan JUST had a tuning session near us right? i live in la crescenta and my friend went to his session this past weekend. i don't think he's gonna be back for another year or so cause he probably went back to texas by now (that's where he lives)...

plus he charges more than that too. my friend just got his for i think 350, but he charges 75 for an hour of tuning. it's not 350 for however long it takes. sorry for bashing on your thread and soundin like an *******, but that's just the plain truth; tryin to help....

Where is RRR anyway? I had all my stuff done at Pure Sports down in Ramona before it burned down...Seth is an awesome rotary expert...sucks *** wut happened to his shop...

Steve did charge me $350, even though my car was on the dyno for 4 hours. He thought more along the lines of $500.. but he just said he'd get me next time. The $350 charge is usually typical since most cars are only on for 2 hours. The reason I took so long is because he did two seperate tunes. A pump tune, and a methanol. I kept asking if he wanted the other $150, but he didn't. Steve is a good guy, and if he's going to be out here again in July.. I'll damn sure be there with C16! w00t.

Keep us posted, I'd like to know if he'll come out sooner.

seems like the tuning session will be some time in the end of july if this works out... a lot longer than expected but he has many commitments else where that have already booked for tuning sessions.... is everyone still ok with this ?

 

yes, I can't believe you guys wanted me back already. I have 5 other places that I have to go before I can come back with you guys.

These are my current schedule so far. I have made commitment to these places months in advance so I can't back out....

May13th = atlanta
May27th = Tulsa
June 4th = Toronto
June 30th = St. Louis
July 8th = Montreal

The earliest I can do it will be July 22nd.
