Hks twin power on fc3s questions.

Need help trying to make a free hks twin power made for hks evo8 work for my leading coils.

I can't seem to find a good detailed write up for hks twinpower into an fc3s. All I know is that white wire from hks unit goes to black wire on leading coil.
Do they mean black wire on coil harness or black/yellow on "ignition harness".
I'm not sure if it intercepts leading black wire or if it's just attaches to it.

I've got an HKS Twin Power Rotary hooked up to mine. I can take some pictures and show you how it's hooked up if you'd like. The HKS diagram is in black and white, and is hard to make out so it took me quite a while to figure it out.

Where to connect HKS Twin Power

I'm not sure what wires you have to work with, but here is how the wiring works for the version I have.

5 wires
Black - Ground
White - Leading Coil
Yellow x 2 - Trailing Coil
Red - Trailing Coil, trigger

Black Wire

Black wire grounded to battery

White wire to leading coil

Finger pointing to connection point

Yellow wires to trailing coil

connection points on bottom of trailing coils

Red trigger wire to trailing coil

Upper left coil terminal post for red trigger wire

These should be the only connection points you need. Please don't cut into your wire harness to splice them. Take the hks harness and solder and heatshrink some nice loops on it and all you have to do is use the nuts on the coils to bolt it down. Good luck

Hey! Where you ever able to get the Evo one to work on your RX7? I am also in such a predicament.
