black wire on leading coil

black wire on leading coil

It's just a ground right? It's solid black wire coming out of the leading coil, and has got a bullet (tude) connector on it. I don't remember if it was the ground when I checked it on a friends car.

bump

It's sitting in the drive with no spark, this is the last bit of info I need to get it going. Is it battery pos(+) or ground(-)?

It's a "diagnostics" lead to see if it's working or not.&nbsp It's normally not connected to anything...

In the FSM it's used to connect a tacho for diagnostic purposes.
