Did I miss the part explaining your drive by wire setup? Like how about you give us a bunch of pictures of where you mounted the pedal, how the throttlebody is installed, how you handled the wiring, where the throttlebody came from, etc.
LS3 TB and LS3 Holden VF pedel (from same car) TPS is fine, APP1 and APP2 both read fine. TB motor drives up and down, but does error on the pedal soon after.
But as noted that part doesn't mater yet - Im asking about the firmware update then Ill know Im starting from a good platform
1) those throttles and pedals rarely fail. In general they're very robust due to the safety concern. The harness you have in your vehicle for the system could be a different situation.
2) it's highly likely that you are one of the rare customers to try and do a custom electronic throttle setup trying to adapt DBW to a non DBW vehicle (I bet it's 5% max of Elite users). They probably have very limited testing in the market. I would go right to Haltech and have them help you. It's their diagnostic monitors that you are tripping, sort of an aftermarket approximation of what OBD II does on a modern car.
3) Right now you have used parts. In the event that it is a bad part, just buy new ones. You can get a brand new throttlebody for an LS3 Camaro from Rock Auto for $130 USD for example. GM sells millions of these throttlebodies and pedals.
Well, I suggested you update the firmware but it looks like you've already done that. As above, contact Haltech. Run a log and email it to them. Their forum is also pretty well supported now. May try a post on there.

I think Ill get another TB and go from there if it doesnt the same thing will then hit up the haltech boards.
EDIT - just bought another TB. Will wait the few weeks for it to get here and will let you know how I get on.
I have nothing to add to the thread/question, but LOVE this pic!
Also, do you have a close up pic of the turbo oil drain on the front cover? I've been attempting to make the one on my FC "perform" better by using various AN fittings, without much success.
The E8 had a common ground for the trigger and home VR. The Sport and Elite have dedicated ground for each. You can use a common ground but you'll need to make the correct selection for the ground reference. Think that would be disabled for the E8 style wiring but I don't have anything in front of me for reference to confirm.
yeah switched the pins and now getting some RPM showing up.
So now next step - seeing if Im getting spark and timing!
Really I need to make up a remote starter - doing this all solo is a pain in the *** at times.
KNONFS: mate the turbo drain is a pain. Going AN fittings I couldnt make it work, just the radius was always not tight enough and clashed with my power steering AN fittings,
Post your map file. And how do you have the crank sensor wired? Is VE- to ground or does it connect to A5? Have several of these 36-1 FFE kits running on FDs with stock sensors on the Elite ECU. Not sure we have any running with the FFE sensor though.
