rotarywarehouse legitimate???

hi, not really sure if this is the appropriate section to post but seemed the most fitting.

does anyone have any feedback on "rotarywarehouse.com", such as timelyness, communication, scam, or also any good expierences with them?

i recently (early jan.) purchased over the internet an engine from them. i payed for the core. apparently the core they had was junk upon taking apart, they got one off ebay that also had the same problem, they said they were getting a third core and they would start my rebuild. its march 7th, no engine, and have not been contacted in over a month and tries to contact in the past 2 weeks have yieled no results. they have the 2300 through paypal, so i am concerned to some degree, and was hoping for some insight.

thanks
joe

Your fucked.
PayPal only has a 45 day dispute time limit, so you're way over that.
If you did the transaction via credit card, then you would have a chance with a charge back.

well they still could have kept in touch, maybe answer their phones, or answer e-mails. don't have much choice other than to wait it out.

have you dealt with them personally mr. SPERRYsan?

i hadn't been to their website recently, but it does appear to be down. also, i have seen that before with the stage 4 posting. maybe that guy dropped in and gave them a visit. its like they dropped off the face of the earth, strange cause other than that stage4 post, i hadn't read anything negative besides that they can be slow.

no, i surely didn't drop off the face of the planet.. he (Steven of RW) simply didn't return my emails; Probably could have done more in a timely fashion but I didn't and he (Steven or RW) didn't. I ended up trying to contact him again via email without any luck.

i've been called & PM'ed a few times about RW and I strongly advised NOT to deal with them. Seems RW is closed and the primary engine builder didn't show up for work. Suck for Steven as he bought RW (tooling, etc) to revive it - though it was ran into the ground.

Ok heres the deal w/rotarydoctor.com

Ok guys normally I would not do this but I am going to put up on here what happened with www.rotarywarehouse.com which is now www.rotarydoctor.com. www.rotarywarehouse.com is a domain name which is owned by a "GUY" that was located in Cali. It used to have a website on it that was old and outdated. I am a website builder and designer. I built the website you currently see on www.rotarydoctor.com for this so called "GUY" but I built it originally for this "GUY" for www.rotarywarehouse.com domain name. To make a long story short I never got paid for my work so I took the site down on him. I ended up selling the site to AtkinsRotary! Kathy and Dave Atkins own www.rotarydoctor.com YES that is right it is totally legit and not a scam site or a rip off site so guys don't give it a bad rep please. I live in NY and I personally have gotten to know Kathy and Dave and they are Honest and have a great rep with the engines they put out... I am now working on a new site for them. I did not mention the "GUY'S" name just because I do not want to slander anyone on the net!!! But he is a rip off and watch out for him!!! He used my work to make money yet never paying me for my work!!! That is the REAL story behind the site! Anyone looking for webdesign shoot me a message. WHY??? When www.rotarywarehouse.com was up it was ranked number 1 on the FIRST page of all search engines for the keywords rebuilt rotary engines including google, msn, yahoo, altavista, netscape, aol, lycos pro, hotbot.... The domain name www.rotarydoctor.com doesn't have any age but give it another 6 months and it will be ranked number one just like the site used to be ranked!!! So need an engine??? Call rotarydoctor.com get a great engine and get to speak with Kathy or Dan Atkins!!! Well thanks for reading my post but I just want to make sure that www.rotarydoctor.com doesn't get a bad rep now that I sold it to Kathy Atkins due to it's old owner! Please guys be fair give them a call you won't regret it. Thanks Vinny
