Question Anyone dealt with MMR?

Hey Guys-

Has anyone on this forum dealt with Montgomery Machine and Racing? (http://www.mmr-direct.com)

I placed an order a month ago for a bushing/mount set, and I have heard or received nothing. I have emailed them- both at their email address on the website AND though ebay- no response.

I have even called information to get their telephone number. Phone number not listed under 'MMR', 'MMR Direct', or 'Montgomery Machine and Racing'.

I would like to get in touch with these guys before I submit a complaint through paypal.

Any help would be appreciated here.

You should file that complaint with paypal ASAP! Paypal only has a certain amount of days that you can file a complaint and if those days expire your pretty much SOL.

It took them about 2-3 weeks, I e-mailed him the first time and had no reply.

The second time he told me he was waiting on plastics, I got the **** about 5 days later.

So about 25 days before I got anything from the time of my paypal.

I got some subframe bushings a while ago from them through an ebay auction. I had them at my door within a week. Though when I had to call about leaving the stock bushing collar in or out, they wern't too helpful over the phone. plus i had to call a few times before anyone even picked up. oh and i had to search online to get the number in the first place...

I dealt with them many times, both thru ebay and their website. All the time they sent me the products under 2 weeks and everything was fine. From my point of view they're A+.
Interesting that they're not answering to your email.

I escalated a claim through paypal yesterday after the dispute went unaddressed for over a week. Hopefully paypal can get some momentum behind resolving this issue.

With customer service like this, MMR won't be in business for long...

I had no issues at all. I'm surprised. Their products are top notch and I will be going back for a fiew more things in the near future.

Edit- If you go to their website http://www.mmr-direct.com/ the first thing you see is an alert to a 2-3 week back log posted a week ago. I'm not trying to make excuses on their behalf, just informing the masses.

Considering I placed my order on 09/25, it would have been nice of them to post a three week backlog notice then, rather than three weeks after that. Also, my dispute has gone unanswered as well and I'll be placing a claim on monday. Seriously, if they'd sent me something saying they were working on it or whatever, I wouldn't be as pissed off.

Good news (at least for me). I received my parts today and am quite pleased with the quality. Definitely worth the wait, however, their communications were a bit lacking through the whole sales process...

5 Port Hank- You will likely be getting your parts in the next 5 days since I placed my order on the 18th.

I actually did receive them yesterday, however, having already ordered them through MazdaTrix, I now have a set of bushings I can't use.

As a side note, my dispute is still open and has yet to be responded to.

Odd, when I bought my bushings they answered my emails within a couple hours. They shipped next day and my bushings came within 4 days.

If anyone has any good update info, please pm me if you don't mind... I'm sure this thread will get lost quickly.

I just ordered DTSS eliminators and rear differential mounts from them yesterday. I received an email this morning that the parts were shipped and a tracking number was included. So it's looking good so far.

Seems to be hit or miss

I've had to send him email after email, some nice, some threating legal action, for about a month. I got a tracking # to a package that didnt ship for 4 days. It should be here tommorow.
I would have been glad to wait the month had there been just the slightest bit of comunication telling me that was the case.
