You know, this is the exact reason Japanese companies don't like to export to the US.

 

Japanese companies should learn not to charge out the *** then. This keeps the market competative. That's the way the world works. A company designs something and charges out the *** then when someone finally copies the design and charges less the company has to become more competative, even though there are some people who don't settle for anything less than the real thing.

I am interested in buying the front bumper from the tamon kit but i want the convertible version that is shown in the following photo.
I want to ask if this bumper is the same like the one that you want to order.
I believe that its the same bumper but with different light brackets (flash to pass lights), am i right?
Where can i find these light brackets?(the tamon website doesnt have them listed).

 

The bumper is an RE-Amemiya full cowl. Not technically a Tamon piece. That light setup is a customized job though I think. I do believe the carbon on the bottom of the bumper is Tamon though, it's a cover for the RE-A bumper. I don't know if Shine makes the bumper already but RaceOn USA carries a replica, and JapanParts can import it for a little more.

Technically the RE FC2000 bumper is Tamon because he designed it...Originally he worked for Ama-san in the body shop section then branched off to make tamon design....or at least thats what one of my Japanese friends told me...

 

haha, thanks. That makes sence, Tamon uses the RE-A cowl for every FC I've seen that they've built.
