Group BUY for Carbon Fiber Feed Style Hood, Sides and Rear Diffuser!! Don't miss out!

Alright guys. We RARELY do group buys after a product has already been introduced.

We have completely run out of Plain Weave Carbon Fiber. Plain Weave carbon fiber is less in demand in the U.S market compared to Twill Weave Carbon. However, most JDM companies such as RE-Amemiya and FEED use plain weave. I personally prefer plain weave.

Here's a comparison.

(left) plain (right) twill

Because it is less frequently used, our supplier won't sell small portions at a time like they do with twill weave. We seem to be the only company in southern California to use it the most. S2000 guys love plain weave and wouldn't buy anything else.

A roll of plain weave carbon fiber is $5,000. We'd hate to sit on $5,000 worth of raw materials for a long period of time. Hence, we are doing a rare group buy on various items in PLAIN WEAVE Carbon ONLY.

If these are items that you want. Do not miss out. These are good prices and we are only taking in a few number of participants. A $250 deposit will be required and the remaining balance will be asked for when we are ready to deliver.

BEWARE of Carbon Fiber products that are made from fabric that is 50% real carbon and 50% fake carbon.

This fabric was developed in response to the carbon fiber scarcity in recent years. I've heard rumors that alot of overseas manufacturers have switched to it because it is less than half the price and more available.

We bought a sample of this carbon fiber to see how it would look if we made a part. We made a rear diffuser and I would have to say it is not up to par. I will try to take pics and post. You see alot of weird lines when you look at the part. It's hard to explain, but it's definitely not the same.

FD or FC diffuser? Or does that not matter? Is it possible to get the center diverters and bowtec generators to go with it at a discounted price too?

We'll do the FC diffuser for same price. Not a problem.

I believe we have a few side generators and center diverters in CF left.

Hummm...... interesting....... Is there any chance you could laminate some of that into a flat sheet? I would like to make a rad panel and front spliter to compliment the upcoming RE-FC2000 bumper.

what in the world.... all of sudden there's a ton of demand for center diverters and side generators.

I think we might redesign our center diverters from a one piece part to a two piece part. The reason being is it is difficult to get the buffing machine in there to get the part nice and shiny. Two pieces would make it much easier.

I'll have to think about this and get back to you guys on pricing.

Also....please don't forget to put your name on the list after you have made a deposit. I sometimes have trouble figuring out who's who.

I will consult with my colleagues tomorrow regarding side generators and center diverters

Ken, you know I am in it. I will call you tomorrow afternoon with some details.

In my eyes, twill weave looks like wholesale ***. Plain weave carbon, or no carbon at all. I don't have an inch of twill on my car.
