I'm in. You can also remove one of your shocks and probably be fine with just one strut to hold up the hatch. I have also bought replacement struts that are stronger than stock to compensate for my wing, so I'm sure "weaker" ones are also available.

Hey guys, I talked with ken last week. He had to get rid of some people at Shine so he is a little behind. He promised me he will make this. All he has to do is make the mold. He told me to call him back at the end of the month. I will let you guys know.
Thanks,
Phil

Still in search of a perfect hatch! Local preferred! I have an oem one in my possession, but I'm afraid it might not be perfect.

Once the hatch is ready, you can top it off with a lexan rear window for even greater weight savings.

I spoke with ken on the phone, my hatch is available up in Sacramento, CA.... so if he really wants it I can send it. However, I think he has other sources in his area... He might just be looking for the perfect one.

Good to hear another update. I have a lexan rear window that needs to be mounted in a nice carbon fiber hatch!

I'd be interested. Just hope they have a way to tint Lexan. The way I see it it would be that much less stuff to rattle.

I think www.raceonusa.com sells them but I do not know the quality. Probably low quality.

I'm pretty sure there's only one maker of lexan/non-glass windows, and it's FAL, sold by Summit and various other vendors.

I've never seen any really good up close photos to assess the aesthetics of it.

DON'T get raceonusa's rear window because everything else they sell is shitty quality. I have a FAL lexan window from Summit Racing. It looks great. I has ~$450 shipped to my door. Go with that.
