Hey there guys,
Thanks alot for putting us on the top of the list, but have you guys tried contacting EVO-R. They seem to specialize in interior pieces and their cost structure being made overseas would be much better than ours.
We actually have almost no experience doing interior pieces not to mention we have quite a bit of projects at the moment.

No offense meant, but do you have anything to back yourself up? You don't exactly have many posts on the forum and I, personally, would feel much more comfortable going with Ken. Everyone has worked with him, we know the quality of his stuff and don't have to worry about him skipping town with a large chunk of change for a GB.
I'm just sick of the cheap shiny black plastics that the FD interior is covered in, which end up cracking, getting oily looking & the centre console mounts always bust when fat guys lean on them to push themselves up out of the car. Of the two types of interior finishes the FD's came out with (the wrinkly/speckled finish and the earlier glossy black plastic finish) most of my FD's have the glossy black finish, which just sucks because its prone to scratching.
Unfortunately though, interior parts wont be available for left hand drive cars, because the demand isnt as high as the RH drive owners. Plus, my understanding is that LH drive cars were discontinued in the US before any large numbers of them were sold.
Here's the radio/heater surround we've been doing recently:
Hope this link works ok:

That sucks, my interior trim peices look like crap. The satin stuff is peeling off of it. I wished someone would make an entire kit to buy, instead of the stick on carbon fiber stuff. I really wish youd change your mind ken, I know there is alot of interest in these parts, and we know the quality of you stuff is top notch.

We could possibly make LH versions, but that said, we have to get a whole working kit that fits properly into our RH cars before we'll consider mirroring the autocad parts over. IF there's a big enough market for LH drivers, then it could be done easily enough.
And no, none of our stuff is the 'stick on' fake lookalike crap. What you get is real carbon, because I wouldnt let fake stick-on garbage anywhere near my car. Real carbon or nothing!
Give us a few months to perfect the fitment of a RH kit, then when we're happy, we'll look at mirroring it over & I'll announce that on this forum somewhere when the time comes..
To give you a rough idea, that carbon radio/heater panel costs $150.00 AUD. For an entire centre console, you'd be looking around the $399.00 mark. I dont know what the whole instrument cluster hump/hood is going to be worth, but it should be similar to the centre console.
I'm trying to post on here more often, but I think the reason I dont get any replies for ages is because as I write this, its 8:35am, and you guys all being in the States, you'd be asleep when I post, correct?

It looks white because it's silver carbon fiber. I had a local shop ship the interior plastics to Indonesia. It took 3 months to get the parts back. The cost- $1100 usd. The quality is top notch. I drew a diagram of how the pieces fit together so the weave patterns lined up when installed. The parts were covered in fiberglass, resin, c.f. then clear coated. The shop that I went thru is out of business but there are a lot of people wrapping parts these days. Not to mention, there are alot of options with the c.f. I've seen twin weave, plain weave, t-weave kevlar, every color and shade you can think of. You are only limited by your imagination and wallet. Send in your window triangles, if you are satisfied with the quality send the rest later. Ask that all parts are wrapped on the same roll for consistancy. I did this during the engine rebuild so I didn't mind having the car out of operation while the wrapping was performed. Check out my build thread in the n.w. section for alot more pics. Also if you have the standard black c.f. wrapped parts already and you want to add color, you can have a transparent color tinted clear coat sprayed over it. It will turn out dark, but you can blend c.f. to paint better.

RX72NR how the heck do you see your tach with all that gear on top of the steering column shroud?
We're going to stick to a coarse weave black carbon on our parts (just shipped a whole instrument cluster off to the molding guys this week- instrument panel face and humped hood that tapers into the dash) and I'm waiting to see what it turns out like..
I pulled the instrument cluster out of my R1 to send over, but a funny thing happened- Seems the sun had been on the dash too much over the years & after I unscrewed the screws from the bottom of the cluster & then gave the whole thing a yank to dislodge the clips at the back, it just went 'CLICK' and came away really easily.. Which in my experience rarely ever happens..
Looked behind the cluster at the tapered hood part, and it wasnt there anymore! Shattered into 3" particles & fell into the dash. Sun must've turned it brittle. Anyone else ever have this problem?
Also, another thing- the centre console has a main web which extends down to the trans tunnel for mounting, and there are 2 screws that hold it down.. Is it just me, or does every FD have this mount broken?? I think its because a lot of the 'larger' FD owners lean on the console to push themselves up out of the car on exit, and it breaks the console mount through too much stress. Out of the 11 FDs I've got, only one has an unbroken console (my personal car!) So I'm looking at beefing this mounting web up a lot on the carbon console.
Will post a new thread when we're ready to start selling parts that fit universal LH & RH cars (wings, mirrors) and then the RH interior stuff after that

It's just the angle of the pic, I can see the whole tach range thru the wheel just fine. My only complaint is the brightness those Greddy units put out. Needs a dimmer switch feature. If you ever use silver c.f., I'll send you some oem aluminum scuff plates to be wrapped. Would look awesome with the gold RX-7 logo showing thru.
