Hey guys... Snapped some pics of the hood (see attachments). Looks kinda odd since my car is white, but I'm getting it painted soon.

Sorry about the blurry engine shot. Its for the underside view too (which has some FG powder left on it because I had to shave it a little to clear my strut bar). Just showing you all why I got the hood in the first place...

Oh yeah, so far its turning out to work awesome!

Oh yeah... That thing is definatly noticeably lighter than my aluminum hood!

No sir. Has a stock latch. It doesent latch very well though.. I have to slam it to get it engaged--but thats a lot better than having pins IMO.

thats typical.... if you put a aluminum hood on a fc that has a steel hood latch, youll have to slam it also... its the weight of the hood that makes you not have to slam it.... theres nothing you can really do about it

i don't mind having pins, i already ordered a set, does anybody else's stock hood pop open while driving? i know fris's does, so i'm not taking chances...anyways looks hot! i got next dibs [shoulda had first...but no money at the time], mine's gonna look the same, black on white, haha

dood dont trust the stock hood latch, ive had first hand experience with the stock hood popping up on me. i took the stock latch out and put in some pins no more worries

btw, the hood looks awesome cant wait to get mine!

kingsfan and FC3S nataku are next.

The hood comes with a stock latch but we always advise to get hood pins for saftey/liability purposes. Also.....the hood is lighter so it will not engage as easily as your stock hood.
