AB FC Rear Cargo Cover?

Any chance shine could get into making FC Rear Cargo Covers? They don't even have to be carpeted!

I'd buy one for sure, as they are rare to find, and $500+ at a dealership.

you could easily make one yourself making a mold from particle board from Home Depot Racing and going from there, lay down the shell in FG and either paint it or adhere fabirc to both sides like stock. FG would be a HELL OF ALOT stronger than the stock one, everyone aware its core is cardbaord? ok just checking.
If you wanted to make an epic Carbon Fiber Cargo Cover (ECFCC!) you could make your mold then drill a TON of evenly spaced holes in the mold and vacuum bag it or something heh.

OH Making one now...

Yes, I am fab'ing up an FC cargo cover now--carbon fiber sheet bonded to aluminum to keep the costs down. Fits in the stock location using the speaker covers. Underside will have some sound dampening foam so as not to become a big resonating chamber...

Simple, lightweight, strong, not as expensive as a much thicker CF sheet.

Hope to have it done soon. Waiting on a few supplies before it all goes together.

What I could use is a trace outline of the stock cover as a template...

I haven't decided yet on the bonding--the carbon fiber panel just arrived today, and I've got plenty of aluminum panel stock from fab'ing my airboxes. 3m makes some heavy duty contact cement, and I've had success with this stuff on other laminate projects.

None of my local FC friends have a cargo cover--I need to trace an outline of one on a poster board or something so I can make an accurate template. I'll gladly pay postage if someone can do this and send it...
