Well most of the S5 car had them but over the years they have been removed.
Never seen an S4 from the factory with one.

If Shine decides to do these I have a cover they can have to make a mold.

That's pretty good. You have your buddy give it a shot .

I had one on my TII long ago and i remember it was beat to ****. If I recall correctlym it had some complex channels. It wasn't completely flat. You also need the TII speaker thingy to mount it correct?

Ken

Ken
Ken, you are correct. I have all of these items that we can use to mold.
So what do ya say? Can Shine produce these for us?

Sweet glad this built up to possibly now

Sign me up as #1! FC version of course.

Remember some FC's have that wiper motor that you'd have to make clearance for.

Gee!

The way I took the reply from Ken was for the other person to do them. Not sure if this is really going anywhere or not (Maybe Ken can chime in and tell us different)
As for the FC's having wiper motors, well most of the cars that had these panels were loaded so they would have had the wiper as well. Not sure about where you are but here in the states they should fit all years as long as you have the speaker covers.

None of my local FC friends have a cargo cover--I need to trace an outline of one on a poster board or something so I can make an accurate template. I'll gladly pay postage if someone can do this and send it...

I would use a panel bonding adhesive over contact cement, or like the adhesives they use to repair bumpers.
Ideally a epoxy like Pro-Set would best, but that stuff is expensive, I think I pay about $40-$50 a cartridge.

I have a cover on my V8 car and its in great shape.

Yes--the panel bonding stuff is excellent. I also found that 3m makes some great spray adhesives (#70 and a stronger #90) for this type of thing.

Glad to know you've got a cover in good shape--I've found someone to trace one for me, and should be progressing soon on this...

Excellent--if this other guy doesn't come through, I'll definitely keep you in mind for it. I appreciate the helpfulness!

I'm interested. If only I repaired my old one and not burned it because it pissed me off... How much do you think it would be around?

well a lil while back me and the shop owner were discussing and he said maybe 700 in CF and that was with the speaker pods as well for what he said as a guestimate and ya glass would be cheaper, but dont take that as a def price, ya it might seem expensive to you guys but in reality theres alot of work that goes into such as a carbon fiber but your option to go with the FG so dont forget that, another thing is if there is a list and it gets to 10 he will more than likely do it. and yes they are good at what they do.

7 even 4 is nuts, the peice can be made almost flat should not be a huge deal to make I have made them of many things just not CF, the layout from the speaker covers edge to the rear flaps that sit against the sides and rear is almost one flat angle.

Well you wouldn't need to have TII speaker covers I suppose if you just mount it to the exsisting ones, shouldn't be too hard? Never seen a cargo cover so I'm visualizing this in my head.

No CF, totally not needed how much weight would you save not like it's that heavy, I'd like the options of differen't stock matching colors would be nice, most would go wth black.

Yes you do need T2 covers the non T2 covers are smooth all the way around in a semi circle and have NO place to attach a deck lid, and CF/Glass either way whichever makes it inexspensive and nice, people wanting NICE NICE would want CF though for its looks etc.
