Yah I sort of remember that. I let my emotions take the best of me, wasn't very smart obviously, but it made for some good stories at least.

I'll be more relaxed and calm this year

Will most likely have to fly solo down there, though, which kind of sucks. But oh well.

I thought about it but I just didn't feel like driving that far in that short amount of time.

well I decided that I am not running the Nor Cal Caravan this year. 5 years is enough.

I am gonna drive down on my own... if Nader wants to tag along (and he probably should as he broke down last year on the way), then that is fine... but it is just too much work trying to get 20-50 cars all together and make decent time. No more than a couple cars in my group.

You know I normally make that drive in 6-7 hours... but with the Nor Cal caravan it is like 11 or 12 hours.

Now if you drive you '8 you are welcome to crash at mine or Naders on the way down.

I wasn't referring to myself, I was saying you can't drive 500 miles in 4 hours at 80mph.

I don't do 125 on the freeway, I doubt my FC could even hit that speed

I hope to have the RX-5 in driveable and decent looking condition. But damn, that's a far *** drive.

I need to actually see how much plane tickets are right now and see who's house I could crash at before the event's. I plan on coming out 2 days prior to the event.

I really hope to have the RX-5 there though, that'd be OH so sweet. First SevenStock event and showing up with an old school Mazda.

Hey fellas,

The v8-7 guys are holding a BBQ / beerfest after Sevenstock and then planning to hit up Buttonwillow for an HPDE on Sunday... Feel free to come out if you want to hang. If you show up on Sunday you can expect some friendly competition.
