I missed out on the Kabura last year. I hope the Taiki and Furai make it to Sevenstock XI. But I'll be there this time in the white s5 turbo 2.

Just a quick update on the event.

We do know it will be held again at the same location as last year's event. The final date has been chosen, but we're making sure it's 100% confirmed (no conflicts with anything else) before we announce the date, so there won't be any changes.

Stay tuned. We will announce it everywhere! (Don't worry)

yeah, its not even hosted at that local anymore, because its too small. lol. But i definitely liked that location better than the Mazda corp building. just my opinion.

You mean not hosted at Mazda R&D right? No big deal on the location as it was only a 10 mile move down the highway.

Besides it is much less of a burden for Mazda to have it onsite at HQ versus R&D. Less stuff to move, relocate or hide, not to mention the HQ parkling is nearly empty on the weekends versus all the cars left at R&D on the weekends.

yeah, i meant i liked the R&D location better. It just seemed like such a car fair. and you couldnt see everything from one single location, so it was like a surprise walking around corners, and bumping into people.
Plus it was a little more scenic.
Nothing wrong with the HQ location, just liked the R&D a lil more.

Too bad we wouldn't use the PAG parking lot for some vehicular (autocross/gymkhana ) action. I'm sure insurance issues would be a nightmare though.

However the guys at American Gymkhana Association are out of Torrance, just down the road from Mazda, maybe they could help. IT would even be cool if it were just demo cars and not actual participants. :P
