This is one event you should splurge $95.00 on the Double Tree hotel next door on Friday eve and night.
Watching the RXs trickle in from other cities and states is always fun to be a part of...you meet the nicest people

I'm looking into flying in from FL because I have been wanting to come to Sevenstock for years. But I was curious if I can get away from getting a rental car? It looks like everything is walking distance from the Doubletree, but I wanted to confirm that things are close as Google shows. Thanks!

About 3 minutes if you skip!
What is cool is 500 RXs filling the staging parking lot across the street from the Mazda parking lot over 2.5 hours. Then about 9am they file into the main show lot.
During the staging is maybe the best time to talk to the car owners while they are sitting in their cars or close by. Once they go inside they usually park then walk around all day and you never get to meet them and ask questions about their particular cars.
I've often seen cars from old friends who I haven't seen forever, then miss them all day. Last year I kept missing Clive the founder of the Mazda Rotary Club.com of England...and he was even staying at the Double Tree. Bummer.
BTW John Wayne Airport is minutes away from the hotel.
Clive took these cell phone pics at the hotel but we never did hook up

That's the hotel in the far distance, 2 blocks or so. You can always hitch a ride...

The last 2 years SS fell on the last weekend of Sept, my wife's birthday.
Try convincing them that spending her birthday at SS is a great present!
Hey, somebody has to drive my truck
The hotel has a great discount for the RX Club, and has great rooms, and a big cookie for you...wish Bern could get the banquet together, though.
Mostly checking in on Friday afternoon and getting there ahead of time takes all the stress out of the last minute getting up at o'dark thirty...or getting no sleep before you take off.
You know what happens when you get there a bit late
It's just another great day of schmoozing with rotarheads, and becomes high anticipation of the Saturday bash. One afternoon is not enough.

I'm glad you got off the fence! It's sensory overload.
Here's a couple videos, but look at the others on Youtube for different looks.

I will definitely show. I work next to Disneyland so there is absolutely no excuse. Will be at K1 friday night with my fc after I get off work
This reminds me to be super grateful for the proximity I have to all of these excellent rotary events... The opportunity, I have to say, is ridiculously awesome.

We were planning on being there with our car but I don't think we are going to make it. Dropped the car off at Mazdatrix on june 2nd for a rebuild and mods and still don't have it back......13 weeks in the shop.

Yeah like 1-2 times a week. She's almost done, but no spark or tach. The car looks absolutely stunning but behind schedule is the only problem. I just can't wait to hear that turbo spool up again!
