Hes saying that because of the dumbasses, we as a whole are judged by the police. It's not right I know, but it happens. It's kind of why 240's and Rx7's were never profiled before. Only Honda's...then the "drifting scene" and all that jazz got big and now it's us that are being profiled.

This SevenStock I saw a retard trying to slide his FC in the parking lot of the staging area and a few idiots trying to show off by gunning it out of the parking lot at the end of SS. This gives all of us as a bad image. I say next year we start picking out who the retards are and make sure they can't return next year.

I understand what he meant. People were acting no different than they did last year, the year before that, and so on. Personally I think it was more of "our economy is hurting, we should write more tickets" than actually putting people in their place. Cops are human beings, not indiscriminate machines, they can identify who's breaking the law and who's not instead of just pulling everyone over. The whole thing reeks of revenue generation.

Regardless of why, it sucks. If it happens next year that will probably be the last time I bring my cars to Sevenstock. Not that it matters if they're there or not but that's my thoughts anyway.

Yea man... like I said... a few guys acting up leaving early, put blood in the water for the police... not much we can do outside the venue. I hope next year everyone helps us "calm" everyone down... we have to remember this is IRVINE! Sorry for the guys who suffered for the fools!

If you noticed the drive-in and out behind the big TACO-BELL building... it cost us THOUSANDS $$ this year because of the same people acting up. TACO-BELL was refusing the use of their property all together until we invested in the speed-abatement procedures. And we also had to pay extra insurance $$!!

This year, we've already been put on notice for the guys who were burning out right on the front driveway of TACO-BELL when we opened the gates and the cars were coming across the street to come in... man!

This is true... and the IPD has mentioned it to us over the last few years.. I guess they had enough!! Again, sorry to hear it, but hopefully it makes everyone "CHILL" next year! It really makes it difficult for us to keep putting this thing together because stuff like this makes pulling the street-closure permit harder and harder every year. SIGH!!

Dealing with the "one percent" rule... as open events get bigger, you get more people who fall into that one percent that are rude self-centered pantloads.

100 people: you get one. They are pretty powerless by themselves, and usually just end up making fools of themselves and getting tossed.
1000 people: you get ten. Seeing as they can't stand each other any more than others can stand them, ten flaming assbags at the same venue can cause a lot of trouble.

It's why a lot of events end up going down the tubes, or going to closed registration systems where people have to give name/addy/plate number.

It sucks for the 99% of people who can have a good time without breaking **** or hurting people, but there seems to be no avoiding them.

That's why I've been sporting a front plate on my car ever since I started hitting local meets and shows; events sometimes attract assbags, and assbags attract cops, and cops will on occasion also decide to be assbags too.

Sigh. Depressing.

This was my first sevenstock and I was pretty appalled by the general lack of class of a number of people throughout the day I was initially really excited and wanted to get involved for the organizing next year but this was really discouraging. I enjoyed the day in general but I have mixed feelings about attending next time around. Too much rice, my FC was crying.

Like I said, we as a community should band together to single out the asshats and deal with them accordingly.

Nothing! But that is my point. There should be no rice. Rx is class. But there was a lot of ricey behavior present...

And congratulations on your win! I was standing kinda next to your car when Bern was saying, "whose car is this? ok, you're bringing it in to the special area..." or something of that sort I asked you how your drive from vegas was.

rice as in the guys reving their engines? lmao

nice to see more guys with kits on their FCs. Though I really hate those with molded in bodykits and front mount intercoolers, really foolish imo.
