Scandalous SSX Banquet Attendees
As the administrator of the SSX Banquet it was my job to oversee that ALL PAYING attendees got a seat at this very special event. It was my duty to take everyones tickets and make sure the Banquet went smoothly without a hitch.
During the course of the evening I (along with others) noticed a few people ( I can name ONE of you at least!!) who finagled their way into someone else's seat making MY job harder than it was. I had people telling me, there are no more seats.
Rather than embarrass you publicly at the Banquet or today on this forum, I'm going to give you the opportunity to MAN UP and send over your tab for the NY Steak Dinner, I sure as heck ain't paying for YOUR dinner. You ate it, you pay for it.
My Paypal Address for YOUR Banquet Meal is: Sales@Rotary13B1.com
Amount: $48.50
I'll give you until Thursday evening to pay up. Otherwise, we'll have to enforce hand stamps, security guards, and lock everyone inside the Banquet with no re-entry.
It was outrageous! I just had to vent, even though it's a few few days old.

I must be smelly or something, but there were 4 empty seats at my table waaaaay in the back corner. The servers were too smart for me to finagle an extra steak dinner out of them
Good job whoever set up that meal, it was by far the best sevenstock banquet dinner ever!!!!! Sucks some people had to sneak in unpaid.

Yeah, I noticed the 3 empty seats over by you guys when I was over to pass out Raffle tickets. Don't worry I didn't notice any strange odors. lol
I was just a bit worried because I had a few other ticket holders who were not checked in yet. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the Steak, I must say it was a notch above the Hilton's, not to mention we didn't have to deal with parking validation.
Thanks for coming down to SSX and the Banquet, I know you all had a blast.
Option to man up is still available: Don't worry I won't name you! (the ONE person we actually know who slipped in)

As for the banquet itself, the food was excellent. Can I make a suggestion? Is it possible to get assigned table seating in the future, rather than play musical chairs? A bunch of us planned to sit together but not everyone was able to the way things worked out. Just a table assignment; not exact seating. Perhaps it could be made-up durring the social hour preceeding the banquet...just set out a form with blocks of spaces equal to the number of tables, and the number of spaces inside a block equal the number of seats at each table, then let people walk up and fill in the blanks if they wish so they can sit with friends. This would also give an opportunity for random individuals to get seated at the same table with some vendor or celebrity they might like the chance to talk to. They can see that, say, Rick Engman is at table 12 and there are a couple vacant seats to grab, then show up at the table without feeling like they are intruding or taking a seat away from his entourage. Just a thought. If you like, I would be happy to make up a form and take charge of this at the next Sevenstock.

Blake, yes there will definitely be some changes to the next event. I'll write the suggestions down and come up with a better game plan. Usually this uninvited, crashing the SSX Banquet fiasco doesn't happen, but it did. Even some of my BOD members had to scrounge for seating, so I failed in some respects. My apologies to those who were inconvenienced.
Funny. that "R" is actually a correct letter, how did you know????!!

I think all of the people caught trying to steal stuff, freeload, etc...should have their photo displayed on a wall of shame. I'll even make that thread a sticky.
Scumbags...
They should be grateful there is even a Sevenstock to attend at all.
A FREE EVENT no less.
Wouldn't surprise me if there will be NO Sevenstock in the years to come.

Yea, stupid crap like that is what ruins it for everyone.
However, I will say, I came out from FL, and a few friends came out from Australia. We more or less kept to the same group, but we had a BLAST! Thanks everyone for all the organization and awesome atmosphere at the event. I didn't notice anything scandalous or anything like that, but probably bc I didn't really try to look for anyone. . . being that it was an enthusiasts gathering, not car meet).
I know the thread is on the scandalous acts, but i just wanted to shine some positive light from someone who attended his first 7stock, and was very impressed and genuinely appreciative of the effort that went into it!
I do hope there will be another 7stock, bc I wouldn't hesitate to spend another 2 grand for the trip like i did this year.

I hope all those ******* that tried to steal ****, at an enthusiasts gathering burn in hell!

It wasn't exactly a secret at the time...Berny commented on it. While I had nothing to do with it, wasn't aware of it until it was mentioned, and it's not someone I consider a friend (I only met him once that I recall), I will pay for the meal. Shoot me a Paypal invoice <sales@pineappleracing.com>. No need to let this turn ugly. The lynching party might find themselves over at Nopistons before they know what happened.

lol... Yeah, that's why I said.. ARE we sure we want to put this thread up? lol
Thanks for the offer guys, and don't worry about the cost of a few seats, we had a good Raffle turnout, and we'll scoop a few dollars from there to cover the Banquet.
I'm glad everyone enjoyed their Steak Dinner.
We'll be smarter next year for sure!
