I'm wondering who's going to Deals Gap Rotary Rally from SE area.

 

If I had to guess from the RRDI crew, also known as Saturdays In Raleigh thread.....about 20 cars or more who knows how many people.

If I can get my car nice and reliable between now and then, I'll be there. I had hoped to have it really fixed up by then, but I'll settle for "good enough to drive a few hours without worry" at this point.

my parents just told me we might be going to germany over spring break, and that some of spring break falls on that same weekend. i will know for sure if i can go withing the next week or so. i was pretty pissed when they told me. i have been planning on going to deals gap for about 7months, and a week ago they tell me this. dont get me wrong germany is great and all( ) but i really dont want to wait another year to go to this thing.

Haha, you and me both. I plan to have my primer covered by then. Primer is dangerous - I've been nearly run over several times because the car matches the road so well.

A lot of Knoxville guys should be there with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gens.

 

Ill be there, but Ill be trailering the SE in. I dont have enough confidence in her yet to drive it that far.
And yes, paint be damned.

Well, Im going regaurdless of my car being done or not. Sure Id like to drive my 7 but ill just ride with someone else if I have to drive my DSM up there. Im thinking now im just going to do the engine and turbos to get it running again and wait till after deals to do the rest(Intercooler, Bumper, side skirts and oil coolers).

Ill be going. along with another TII guy, chris, who went to a previous one. www.wncrides.com is planning a trip on march, So ill have 1 previous trip so I wont be a n00b. I cannot wait.

 

I'm going to try and get my friend with a Mustang Cobra to come with me

 

i want to badly, but it all depends on how much money its going to cost TOTAL ... and if i can get sunday off or not ...

 

I'll be there. Any recommendations for lodging? If I wait too long I may jut have to drive up and back both days, heh.
