Where do you dyno? Atlanta area
Where do you dyno? Atlanta area
I was hoping someone would point me to a good place that has a weekly or montly dyno day. You know, the type of place where you can take some inexpensive pulls and gawk at others' cars. Or laugh at them, depending.
I'm NE of Atlanta and have used a shop in Sugar Hill. Cool guys, and not bad at $150/hour. But I keep hearing about places that do like 3 pulls for $50.
Thanks

I was searching for a shop near Marietta and found Top Speed. The site I found indicated that they were have a local dyno day (actually today I believe) for some Integras, and were charging around $40 for 3 pulls. If we could get a group of 10 or more, I am sure we could get the same rate.
Oh and I called Battleground, they don't tune rotaries.

We used to do a dyno day every once in a while at Dynolab. Arthur cut a group rate that was around that (can't remember exact price). I know he would do it again if we asked him to. We haven't done a rotary dyno day in a long time...

No I don't have a rotary right now, but I used to roll in a 94 Touring which was a fun car. It was just so "alien" to me, never having a rotary or a turbo (let alone 2) before, I sold it. Now that I understand how forced induction works, I'd be into getting another one.
If other people want to jump into dynolab or topspeed, I'd be in too. Just try not to laugh so hard when you see only 200 rwhp and only 8 psi.

im be interested in getting in on this. i know my numbers will be low, but id still like to see what they are. id need it to be after the beginning of the year though. my car still isnt on the road yet.
My car was tuned by Doug @ Topspeed. Doug is one of my buddies, and he is the AEM certified tuner, and one of the best I know down South. He is more of a STI, WRX, Supra guy, but he also tunes 240s, therefore he is good with the PFC. My car puts down 350 rwhp and 280 tq on the dyno with boost problems and running super rich 6 months or so ago, so I would recommend Topspeed all day.
