Hey, that would be cool to get some parts for my 1982 RX! Toss a price in for the whole shebang.
Ahhh, what did I find was wrong with my RX7 today....lots.
First, feast your eyes on this:

Well that's gonna take a while to figure out, so I decided to install the alternator I bought a couple weeks ago. Doesn't matter if I put the alternator on today or 3 weeks from now because the carb is setting on top of the Jeep while I decide if I wanna take the plunge into rebuilding the Nikki myself or entrusting someone else who doesn't have the vested interest I have in it. I am really leaning towards following the tutorial on SMW on the rebuild, as well as the link to the tutorial about removing the emissions from the car. At this point, and while trying to figure out why one belt was loose, I found that the Smog Pump was loose due to the bottom bolt being cracked off. With the pump off, and the carb out, now seems like a perfect time to remove things that rob that little car of extra power!

Just picked up a Racing beat exhaust for my N/A today. Just a little welding and we should be set. Hopefully it's quieter than the exhaust I currently have....

Removing the old shifter housing with not enough room to get a wrench/socket on it. If I had more tools it would have been easier, also didn't help that my 12mm socket split while taking one of the bolts out. Took me about an hour and a half total 75% was taking out the top right bolt.

Yeah I had to get a 12mm wrench short enough to fit into and onto the bolt, but then there was no room to grab the wrench. I then used a screw driver to pry the inch or so of room on the wrench till it freed, then it was easy.
If I only had to change the shifter itself it would have taken me 10 minutes, I got the entire assembly which was a pain in the ***.
