I've always wanted to run your car, but you always had an excuse, (Countyline, Homestead, PBIR) lol...

I don't come up with any excuses, i got a 12.6 in my RX-7 and that's my best to date. =)

I'm always ready to race, i have never claimed im faster than anyone in here, but you should leave your car with your previous boost setting on 93 octane to see how it does against mine on stock twins at 13 PSI. (You know Steve Kan tuned it at 13 PSI and i got 330 rwhp).

Then when i get my GT3574R setup finished (soon), we can race again. =)

BTW you need a bit more than what you currently got to run against a stock C6 Z06, just saying, but i don't race it anyway. A stock C6 Z06 is capable of 10.7 with just drag radials:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Zv5RDzwS4g

Whenever you go to any of the 3 tracks mentioned above, i'll be there and we'll run it, i honestly can careless if i lose, it's all for fun! =)

So does a E Cinco Cinco.

BTW why are you showing a video of another car making a pass at 10.7? This is not a vette forum.

moosejaw to the rescue =P

Just showing that he might not have what it takes to run against a stock C6 Z06 since he asked me to bring mine to the track.

Not trying to start a debate, just posting a video, what's the problem?

=)

Sorry dude.... I don't think about you OR him....

And a "STOCK" Corvette Z06 runs the 1/4 in 11.7 @ 123.7 mph per Road&Track magazine... I can post any video of my 7 all I want and claim I still run twins.... So unless you built the car yourself...which I know you didn't .....then posting video's doesn't prove anything to me...

That's ALL folks

Stock Z06 on Radials .......10.7....... Maybe thats what they call stock in MD!

Just had a race event couple weeks back and had several Z06's present. 2 black C6 Zo6's both broke back to back (half shaft I think). Both on drag radials and neither were on track for much better than high 11's.

Still nice cars though.

C6 Z06 - 273 passes - Ranger
Bone Stock Stock Tires……11.02 sec @ 127.25 - 1.70 60' ft.
Bone Stock DRs......….……..10.74 sec @ 129.50 - 1.59 60' ft.

This car is bone stock (except DR tires of course), but i'm not going to argue over this =)

That doesn't mean every driver is capable of these times, but the car is capable of doing it.

Hey quit posting other drivers times!
I wanna know what the F can you do ?
Im not interested in what Motor Trend can do with your Z06. Question is what can you do in with the exception of showing up late to work in it every day.....

Are you going to let those Maryland old timers drive your car when you lose to Montego Joe?

Maybe Joe should find the fastest single turbo FD out there and then start debating you.......

I'm sure i can pull a mid-11 myself with a few passes, but i don't want to run it at the track, it's my daily driver and not interested in breaking it lol...

Again, I never claimed anything about my car being the fastest or anything, i'm simply posting information on what the car is capable of doing that's all...

Hey Andrew, what's my work schedule? are you writing me up? lol... and if you want to know what i can do at the track, let's race! =)

JT...
Read this.....

"STOCK" Corvette Z06 runs the 1/4 in 11.7 @ 123.7 mph per Road&Track magazine"

You can look it up on their site. How would those MD guys be able to drop almost a whole second on street tires VS the proffessional drivers that R&T have ??

I really feel those MD guys are blowing smoke up all Z06 owners ***. After watching the video you posted...that Vette did NOT sound stock.

NOW... back to our 7's.....
I need all the practice I can get so whenever you feel the need, visit Countyline and let me know how you do... My best time at CL is a 7.5 @ 92mph....

My best time with my RX-7 at Countyline is 8.3, and that only happened once, i'm usually 8.4-8.5

My best time with my RX-7 at PBIR is 12.6, but i'm usually 12.7-12.8, i haven't ran the car on a good day that's dry and cold, these times were on HOT weather. I wonder how it will do with nice cold dry weather. The stock twins at 13 PSI don't get along with HOT weather, car feels slow. That's why you always see me with bags of ice. =)

Road and Track times are too conservative, they said the SRT-4 (i had one when they came out back in 2003) runs 14.3-14.4 STOCK and i got a 13.7 BONE STOCK ON STOCK TIRES. Makes me wonder how "professional" their team really is. AND IM NO PROFESSIONAL DRAG RACER but i know i can do pretty good with practice just like everyone out there.

They probably just run the cars 3-4 times, and average out their quarter mile times. These people in the vette forum really push their cars at the track. That guy got over 270 passes to dial in those times. With this car, it's all in the launch. It's real hard to launch this car off the line and get a great 60'.

Go drive a stock C6 Z06 and listen to the exhaust, mine is not quiet when i floor it. Butterfly valves on the STOCK exhaust open past 4000 RPM.

Anyway, when are we having a track day together?

Joe: i want to run you at both Countyline and PBIR before i install my GT3574R setup. For fun! =P
