A chat thread would be helpful. I got to meet Chris (Slevin_FD) and I think Toby and one other last Friday. Good people for sure. Looking forward to getting my car operational and out to a few local events.

If you have not noticed I have started planning a meet for June 11 th looks like a nice turn out so far. Not everyone posted that plans to come a bunch of them called me. Or I should say had someone call me.

And of course we complain about gas prices. Anyway. Ok guys it's time for me to get serious about finishing my car. Toby your incharge of crazy ideas, Juan Fabrication, Jamin Turbo modification, Kenny and Camron clean up and general motivation, Ron IDK your trying to be responsible and get a job so I guess you can keep us all on track. Why the sudden job descriptions? I want to go to the columbia meet.

Welder gets here next week, just a little MIG box but should do what I need it to. Should finally be able to make some progress on the car. Still have the whole NA 13b drivetrain in the garage, I really need it gone so I can get 2 cars back in the garage. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM, I am motivated to get it gone.

 

Thanks to all the guys that went to the party yesterday and ended up swapping the 2 engines (Justin, Chris, Jamin, Toby).

 

Thanks for the invite to the pool party, I was stuck at work until 6:00 and already had plans to work on the car. Got a bunch done too, should have all of the sheet metal work done tomorrow and scuffed ready for primer. Maybe next weekend I can catch up with you guys and hang out.

Glad to hear that, seeing that corvette makes me think you went back to the dark side.

 

I would still have a fd if bill trompitter(he passed away)or if there was any great local shops that could work on a fd around here.i wanted to go the ls1 fd way ,but the prices are too steep for me.I saw a red fd with clear glass lights a few weeks ago,and toyed with him a little. Do you know who he is?I still like fds a lot.

 

V8 FD is possible and rates are reasonable considering all the work that goes into it. I even know where I roller is. Shoot me a PM when you get a chance.

 

Well, my "friend" backed out moving to Charleston so I'm stuck up north until I can find someone else to help with rent in SC.
