It's progressing. I still need a TII bellhousing though. Your right about people not necessarily showing up. We do have lives outside of our cars...... Well the Honda guys do. But, at least we could communicate.

Ok ill communicate.
As far as last Saturday goes, I wasn't at the Rice Bowl, well there really is no excuse.
But Jamin was having electrical trouble with his Subaru, nothing serious, and he got it figured out, thats why he wasn't there.

You and Jamin are good. I started the facebook group basically so we could get some organization out there. The Subie's are pretty organized, but other than that it's just a random hodge podge of ricer's, drifter's and subie's and our 4 rotaries. 4. That's a shame considering how many RX8's I see on a daily basis. We should be at least as strong as the STI's. At least we are die hard enthusiasts.) with the random pickup or american car thrown in. I feel like it could be so much more. I mean we will never be like Tokyo or cali, but there are some nice cars in the area, and if we got organized who knows where it might take us.

I'm always beat from whatever I do on Saturdays to make it to Kmart. Next weekend I'm going to Charlotte early Sunday morning, so I'm not sure I'll make it out that late Sat. night. Friday night?

Any of you guys going to the Mitty this year??
http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/events/Mitty11/
I'm going to try and get my RX back together so I can drive it down to Road Atlanta, and if I'm lucky i can even convince my Gf to come with me since it's close to ATL. If not there who's going to DGRR? On a longer scale; who's down for a road trip to the US Grand Prix next year? I'm all about going to a race weekend there. New track, fast cars, European women.

Hey guys, pretty new to the forums, but owned my fd for ~7 years now. Would love to meet up with some other rotaries sometime. I will be going to the Mitty this year almost certainly as I live about an hour away (Greenville, SC). If a Charleston meetup happens I'd be willing to attend those as well as the savannah meetup (was just down at roebling road 2 weeks ago). Hope to see some of you around soon.

Jamin, I need the bell housing because I shattered my rear plate about a year ago, and just got around to rebuilding the engine. I'll probably just end up buying another one eventually. The trans survived, the bell housing did not .

JTFD, the Charleston crew generally meets up every Saturday unless something is going on. Last weekend was a little slow so we all hung out at my place drank some beer and ported an engine and talked rotary speak. Also got wowed by my neighbors son ( both into rotaries BTW) and his amazing lego skills. Gotta keep the kids out of trouble right? All in all a good evening I'd say. You should drive up some time. PM me and I'll shoot you my number
RXtacy , My GF has my by the ***** man. she pulled the Grand Prix or DGRR card. WTF...... it's a year away. Maybe I can convince her to go see her grandmother in cali and I can sneak off to Seven Stock while she's there.

Everyone, on a side note I just put up this Facebook page, and I'm considering changing my business name to match. I'll be posting updates, pricing, available parts ect ect on it, plus it's a good local online spot that will probably be seen more often than this thread, at least by me. I may end up just changing the category to club instead of business depending how much interest I have in it. Also I'm considering starting an actual RX7 club in the area with state wide chapters and all that stuff. Give me some feed back. I've noticed there are alot of car club turn outs at the local car shows, but I seldom see any rotaries.
