Steve Kan Tuning Session, December 12th.
im ok with the 12 or 13 of december. I still have to install the fuel system in my car but the date is perfect. i will send my deposit within a week please send me the address were the tuning sesion is going to take place. ( if my spelling is off im 2x6packs deep and a couple jonys in so bear with me. Tommorrow wll be a funny day reviewing this post. lol
Just because all these other guys are trying to jump in doesn't mean Steve will accept or have the time to tune them. The people who have sent deposits and confirmed with him are set but the others need to contact him and make arrangments..

ok guys the tunning will happen on Dec. 12th starting at 9AM at Japtrix in WPB. Dyno is $125 per person. Does not matter how long it takes to tune your car. they will open from 9AM to 5PM.

* Tuning starts at 9am on Saturday. The owner doesn't mind staying open past five, but i dont think he will entertain staying past ten like the last Kan Event. So lets not abuse.
* The dyno shop fee is $125 per person for the five people listed on the tune.
*Other ppl wanting a tune will need to confirm with Steve if he is able to do in one day. (I dont think the dyno shop will want to be open on a sunday) Remember this isnt Petit's Dyno Shop that is next door.
* The fee includes as many runs as it takes to get tuned (you wont be limited to three runs, but again please dont abuse.
* Minor issues can be fixed while on the dyno.
* However if there is a substantial problem with your car while tuning, it will need to be pulled off to fix the problem.
* As Steve will tell you, its imperative to change your oil, plugs and fuel filter before you tune.
* As i have learned, a 3 bar map sensor installed and the using the correct oil weight (whether you are single or twin) will help a successful tune.
* I believe everyone understand the importance of your fuel setup and fuel pump selection.
* Have money in hand to pay both Steve the balance of his fee as well as the dyno shop. They are two different parties.
* Finally I hope everyone is able to get their cars tuned and we will all drive home Happy FD Owners.

Ok, just replaced the following:
High-flow 3" cat from Pettit (the one i had in my car was totally busted internally), Mazda OEM fuel filter and spark plugs...
Engine oil and filter change tomorrow and it's ready!
Gotta stop spending money on this damn car lol...

Guys, i need that washer/spacer piece that goes right behind the belt tensioner, my damn belt wont stop squeaking (i replaced the pulley itself) but i found out this piece is what's causing the pulley to squeak like crazy!
Anyone with a blown engine care to let me borrow this piece for Saturday? I will be ordering it from Mazda tomorrow, but im sure it will get here Monday...
