Who all is interested in getting their 7 tuned by the infamous Steve Kan in North Carolina?
If this goes through, where shall it take place (shop)?

I'm in as well. There are a few shops in Charlotte. Not sure of the Mooresville/statesville area though. I'll look into that if i have some extra time later. Guess i better build my engine then

Count me in.
That's 4 people and we just need couple more to ensure enough count to make it happen.
Let's begin a list here:
1. BosstedFD3s
2. Capps
3. BigIslandSevens
4. Riceman1998
I personally prefer to have my car street tune. I recommend a location where no one have to drive too far.
I know and recommend a dyno shop in Durham called CAM if people want to dyno and meet in a more centralize location. Here is the shop website: http://www.carolinaautomasters.com/

I have checked with Steve and he said he doesn't tune Megasquirt.
He also said his schedule is fairly tight until rest of this year so likely if he plan to come here, it'll be early next year but totally depend on how soon we can get 5 deposit to him.
Once we get 5+ commitments, we need to begin collect $200 deposit from each person and pay Steve in advance then he can book his schedule. As far as location goes, anywhere is ok by him as long as there is a airport near by and a dyno shop for people who want that type of tune. For people who didn't know about Steve's charge, it's $350-$400 per car (exclude dyno cost).
Come on people We just need couple more to get him here!!!

dude that blows that he doesnt tune megasquirt! did you by chance ask why? just because he doesnt know how? if i could have someone there that could show him how to use megatune and he tune it, do you think that would work? is there an e-mail that i can contact him directly?
According to Steve's exact word: "I don't tune megasquirt since I'm not familiar with it and there's not much resolution on the system last I saw. I don't want to tune something that I don't feel was reliable to tune."
Nothing personal but I think he just doesn't feel comfortable to do something that he doesn't good enough about.

Put me on the list! what about 3si racing in concord? they have a new dyno facility, and arent retarded like some other shops (wont mention names). there is always rotorsports, but i think they like to tune themselves. id like to see this in early spring 2007 as the cold weather now to feb will throw off the tune when its warmer.
also, i kinda tend to like a little bit of road tuning myself to get the partial throttle tune and regular driving tune as well as make it more of a real world senario tune. the loads are always different for the car off the dyno than on. so we need to make this near some strait back roads or empty-ish highway.
